We understand the convenience of online pharmacies for your pets’ food and/or medications and respect our client’s decision to order through the pharmacy of their choosing. However, due to the high volume of outside pharmacy prescription requests we receive daily and the time it takes to process them, we will be making changes to our policy. This is to allow our staff to focus on the best possible healthcare and service for you and your pet.
Effective June 1st, 2025, Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital will no longer process prescription requests received from outside pharmacies.
- When we receive a request from an outside pharmacy, you will receive a recommendation via email to order through ***Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital’s online pharmacy instead.
- Should you choose to proceed with your original request through the outside pharmacy, you will need to notify Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital and we will prepare a written prescription ready for you to pick up at the clinic. FYI-Written prescriptions may take up to 48 business hours to prepare; you will be notified once the written prescription is ready for pick up.
- You may then upload or send your written prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.
