Dear Pet Parents,
We are excited to announce that we will have a new, full-time veterinarian joining our team at Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital mid-May 2026! Dr. Mary Margaret Patrias is originally from Minnesota and after practicing at a small animal practice in Utah, she will be returning to Minnesota and continuing her veterinary career with us.
A little about Dr. Patrias in her words:
Dr. Patrias grew up in southwest Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota, where she received her Bachelors in Biology in 2017. Throughout college, she worked as a veterinary assistant at both a private small animal hospital, as well as a referral hospital, where she discovered her passion for veterinary medicine. She attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, graduated in 2022, and began her career in a small animal hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. After enjoying a couple years in the mountains, she has decided to return closer to home to be near family and friends.
Dr. Patrias has a professional interest in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and health certificates.
In her free time, Dr. Patrias enjoys going to the cabin, reading, camping, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, son, and Boxer mix named Huck.
She is looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
