Jennifer Yoraway CVT, CPDT-KA

    Jen and her husband Evan are the proud parents of 2 beautiful little girls, Evie and the newest edition to there family Meadow Grace.  They also share their home with "Aries" AKA "Baby" (pictured here) a mixed breed and "Coalie" a pug (pictured here), and 2 cats "Rufus" and "Goblin".  Jen's hobbies include spending time with her family, long walks with the dogs, and yoga. She is excited about starting her new training business, Cold Nose Warm Heart.

Emilee Searles, CVT

     Graduated from Argosy University in 2004 with an A.A.S in Veterinary Technology.  She started at Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital  as an intern and was hired on as a full-time Certified Technician in 2005.  She is a member of the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America.  Emilee's furry family includes a 10 year old Chihuahua mix named "Rocko"  (pictured here) and a 10 year old cat named "Kitty Kat".  In her spare time she enjoys vegetable and exotic plant gardening, cooking with her partner Brandon, and watching movies with "Rocko" on her lap.

Megan Peterson, CVT

Began working as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant in a local clinic while in high school.  She decided to turn her love for animals into a career and graduated with an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology in 2004 from Argosy University.  Megan became a Certified Veterinary Technician after passing her state and national boards in 2005 and joined our team here at Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital that spring.  She is a member of the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America.

    In October of 2009, Megan became a volunteer for the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Reserve Corp. (MVMRC) and other local volunteer organizations.  The MVMRC is an organization that provides aid for animals, local veterinary infrastructure, and public health during times of disaster both in the state of Minnesota, as well as surrounding states.  In the Fall of 2010 she attended a free spay/neuter clinic with Rosie's Rescue on the Red Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota where she cared for animals in need of treatment, surgery and educated owners on how to properly care for their pets.

     Besides volunteering, Megan fills her free time with family, friends and outdoor activities.  She currently has 2 cats at home "Kitty" and "Ms. Ellie May".  Megan is excited about her engagement and for her wedding in the fall.  Megan and her fiance have a mixed breed dog named "Rosie".

Jessica Heisick, CVT

    Jessica joined our team in October of 2007 on an internship from Minnesota School of Business (Blaine Campus).  Upon completion of her internship, she was offered a position as a Veterinary Technician here at Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital.  She graduated with an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology in the spring of 2008 and became state and nationally certified  the next summer.  She is a member of the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America.  Jessica's interests include client education, surgery and anesthesia, and dentistry.  Jessica has also volunteered with Rosie's Rescue on Red Lake Reservation in northern MN.  She helped care for animals in need of treatment, administered vaccines and educated owners on how to properly care for their pets.

    In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping/outdoor activities, going to concerts and festivals,  playing fetch with her Labrador mix "Jade" (pictured here), and snuggling with her silly, 3-legged Siamese mix "Ragnar".

Nikki Weber, CVT

    Nikki has been working in the veterinary field since she was 16 years old, starting as a kennel worker for 5 years at a local veterinary clinic, she went on to complete her internship from Argosy before leaving to join our team in the fall of 2009.  Nikki graduated from Argosy University with her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and became nationally certified in the summer of 2009.  Her interest are anesthesia and surgical assisting, working with different labratory specimens, client education and volunteering with the Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue by fostering Great Danes in need and coordinating with other fosters within the organization.  She is the proud owner of a Harlequin Dane named "Rio" (pictured here) and a brindle Boxer named "Mya".  When Nikki is not working she enjoys going up north, fishing, hunting and hanging out with friends.
