Dr. Rodney Toogood
Graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. He worked in a small and exotic animal practice for 5 years before co-founding Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital with Dr. Lorna Reichl in 1994.
Dr. Toogood's interests include feline and canine medicine and surgery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and is the past president of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association Academy of Continuing Education. Dr. Toogood shares his passion for Veterinary medicine with his wife, Dr. Gretchen Rowe, who is a veterinarian in a practice limited to animal ultrasonography.
Dr. Toogood is an avid cyclist and wine enthusiast. He is a musician and a 25 year veteran of the Twin Cities music scene. He currently plays with the Belfast Cowboys.
Dr. Ingrid Bey
Graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Prior to returning to school, she worked in immunology research for a small biotechnology company for 6 years. She received her B.A. in biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 1981. She enjoys the diversity of general practice and loves internal medicine, especially immunology and endocrinology. She is a member of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical association, Academy of Veterinary Medical Practice, and is a past president of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association.
Dr. Bey and her significant other, Dave, own a small hobby farm in Belle Plaine, MN. They share their farm with nine spayed and neutered barn cats and a small flock of sheep. They share their home with 2 house cats "Ellie" and "Mo" and three parrots. Dr. Bey is pictured here with her golden retriever/black lab "Madge" (adopted from R.A.G.O.M). Her hobbies outside of the veterinary field include hiking, cross-country skiing, music, cooking, and yoga.
Dr. Ginger Zieman
Joined our staff in May of 2007 after her graduation from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Dental Society. Her professional interest include behavior, dentistry and internal medicine. She takes great pride in supporting and encouraging the human-animal bond by improving the health and overall wellness of the patients she cares for through owner education.
Dr. Zieman and her husband Craig share their home with 2 cats "Orphee" and "Howard" and "Delilah" a mixed breed pictured here. Dr. Zieman and her family enjoy spending time with friends and the rest of their family, jogging, outdoor activities and completing home remodeling projects.
Dr. Zieman and Craig are the proud parents of a son Grant (2) and newest arrival Lydia born November 24th, 2010.
